Porsche 718 Cayman & Boxster Stage Guide
The official RaggDoll build spec for the 718, straight from the RaggDoll team. Pick your engine — 2.0L (Cayman / Boxster) or 2.5L (S / GTS) — and follow Stage 1 through Stage 4 in the order that actually works.
The RaggDoll evolution (ELEV) manifold can be a part of any stage. It's listed where the RaggDoll team recommends it, but it's compatible across the whole roadmap.
The starting point
Porsche 718 Cayman & Boxster Stage 1 — 2.5L (S / GTS)
Stage one starts with the turbo first. Tune-first is an option depending on the direction someone has already gone, but turbo-first is highly advised.
Why turbo first? Read the breakdown460 wheel on pump
Porsche 718 Cayman & Boxster Stage 2 — 2.5L (S / GTS)
The first complete supporting-mods build. Everything the turbo needs to actually deliver 460 wheel on pump fuel, day in and day out.
500+ wheel still on pump
Porsche 718 Cayman & Boxster Stage 3 — 2.5L (S / GTS)
Same supporting hardware tier as Stage 2, stepped up to the RS2 or The RaggDoll turbo and the ELEV manifold to push 470 to 500+ wheel while staying on pump 93–94 octane fuel.
Past pump — fueling-defined
Porsche 718 Cayman & Boxster Stage 4 — 2.5L (S / GTS)
Stage four really comes down to fueling and your preferences. It depends on which fuel is available to people in their region or state. Either way, at this point you're getting into high-octane fuels, E85, ethanol mixes, or water-meth injection.
- RS2 or the RaggDoll turbocharger
- Compressor inlet
- High-flow airbox
- Upgraded Fluxion or Moonshine HPFP (high pressure fuel pump)
- Large-capacity intercooler
- 3.5" exhaust — with or without our ultra-quiet resonator
- High-capacity, high-volume intercooler
- RaggDoll evolution manifold — a must at this stage in power
- Head studs advised
